The newly released demo includes three unique fantasy levels including Swinging Caves, Playing in the Shade and Shooting Me Softly. Players can launch the demo with no time limits, challenging their previous score and time attack records by collecting more electoons and exploring new adventures each time around.

Rayman Origins is a platformer at its core, but includes elements of a variety of game genres. In the multiplayer beta, up to sixteen simultaneous players per match will have the opportunity to choose from six playable classes and will able to experience online action within multiple maps and modes – including the innovative Firestorm mode.

Both Codemasters and Warner Bros believe the move to June, from its original May 29 date, will provide the game with a clearer release window and create a greater opportunity for success at North American retail outlets.

The PC edition is unaffected and holds its global digital release date of next Thursday, May 24, and will be available from Steam.
