Majesco Entertainment, publishers of such wonderful games as A Boy and His Blob (both on Wii and the re-release on WiiWare), are preparing to release another classic game (in this case, many games) on the Wii. Data East Arcade Classics is being packed with 15 classics from yesteryear (and for many that will never experience the arcades as they were back in the day). Some of the titles coming to the Wii thanks to Majesco include Burgertime, Heavy Barrell and Magical Drop III among many others. Data East Arcade Classics is licensed by G-Mode and developed by G1M2 specifically for the Nintendo Wii console. Your interest in this title will vary depending on your interest in the games being offered so to help out, we have gotten the full list of titles that gamers can expect in January 2010. Some welcome additions include 75 goals that will challenge everyone’s skill level and allow gamers to earn soundtracks, bezels, classic arcade marquees among others. Also, players can link their hi-scores to their Mii characters and play with the classic controller, Wii Remote with nunchuck, GameCube controller and the Wii Remote. Multiplayer support is available in co-op or head to head and also a single player option is available for all of the games.
