After a two month delay, The Walking Dead Episode 2 launched on PSN this afternoon. To the dismay of Playstation 3 users, Episode 2 appears to contain a bug that prevents the game from working.
Reports from the Telltale Game’s forums and the official PSN blog state that after selecting a saved game and launching Episode 2, the user is returned to the system dashboard. Deleting the episode and reinstalling it does not fix the issue.
Other reported bugs include Episode 1 dialog glitches, graphics fragmenting, and other related glitches. According to a Telltale Team member, they are ‘Looking into’ the problem.
This issue follows up a two month delay that upset fans after Telltale Games promised to release an episode every month. Fingers crossed that Telltale Games can isolate the bug before the weekend.
